Zombie survival tactics.

How to survive a zombie attack:

   1. Don't panic.
2. Get away from the zombies. Most of the time, you can move faster than they can.
3. Gather food, water, an emergency radio, flashlights and weapons, and retreat to a secure location.
4. If possible, retreat to a shopping mall, general retail store or other location where you'll have easy access to food and supplies.
5. Stay away from heavily populated areas, where the infestation is likely to be heaviest.
6. Barricade all entrances and stay put at all costs.
7. Don't get surrounded or backed into a corner or other enclosed space.
8. Remember that anyone bitten or killed by a zombie will become a threat to you and your party.
9. Wait patiently for rescue and make long-term preparations for your survival.

Also, avoid common mistakes like:

    * Sheltering in a vehicle to which you do not have the keys
* Leaving blades, cudgels or other basic weapons out for zombies to find
* Teaching zombies how to use firearms
* Giving your only weapon to anyone who is hysterical
* Retreating to a basement or cellar without taking supplies with you
* Getting into an elevator in a building infested with zombies
* Letting personal feelings and arguments get in the way of survival

Borrowed from HowStuffWorks.com

Stupid driving drives me nutty.

Okay. I'm not a perfect driver, but I do try to be somewhat courteous and let other drivers in when they are changing lanes, etc. Has anyone noticed that there are just huge numbers of imbiciles and/or jerks on the road lately? I think they're breeding. Or maybe I'm just spending a lot of time in the car. Really, though, I'm tired of people cutting me off, not using their turn signals, tailgating, increasing speed when trying to pass (my favorite - virtually guaranteeed to make me spew forth every four-letter word I know), and generally just behaving like total jackasses on the roads.

Autumn snuck up on me.

Okay, I guess it's official. Summer's over. The trees are changing colors, the days are getting shorter, and the weather's cooling off. October hit so fast I think I'm in denial.
Built fire in the fireplace last night - it was pretty chilly in the house so that helped take the edge off. With natural gas prices predicted to rise, Ryan and I have both been putting of turning on the furnace just yet. Dunno how long that will last - this morning I woke up and it was 64 degrees in the house. The ceramic tile in the kitchen was darn cold on the feet!
Work has been super busy as well. We rolled out physician electronic signatures this week so we are supporting that in addition to all the usual stuff. I'm hoping next week will settle down a bit but it seems like things will be busy since I have a 3 day week (4 really - 3 days and one overnight downtime) and my calendar's filling up.
Ok, enough whining, time to get to work. Later!

Tiger game pictures!

Pictures from the Tiger game we went to a couple weeks ago are up on Ryan's website. We had a great time after the rain delay - and Ryan took some really spectacular photos! You can view them all by clicking here. The best way to view them is by clicking the last thumbnail and then you can view them all by clicking on the picture, which will move you to the next one.

Can't wait to get some prints made of some of them.

Damn communist bunnies.

Ok, I tried to post this once but accidentally deleted the whole thing after writing it all!

Ok. This is an official apology for the lame-ass pancake bunny posting. Honestly, I didn't have time to write much at all so I stuck the stupidest thing I could think of on the post. (Funny, though it's been around for a couple of years).
