Tiger game pictures!
Pictures from the Tiger game we went to a couple weeks ago are up on Ryan's website. We had a great time after the rain delay - and Ryan took some really spectacular photos! You can view them all by clicking here. The best way to view them is by clicking the last thumbnail and then you can view them all by clicking on the picture, which will move you to the next one.

PalaceVision!!!
The night might have had an unhappy ending, but we sure had a great time watching the Pistons in Game 7 at the Palace!
Yeah, I'm neglecting my blogging duties again. We got back from a trip to Charlevoix (via Marquette and a wedding in Houghton - talk about the long way home) and my sinus infection from Friday got much worse. It really just knocked me out for about 3 days. I stayed home from work Monday and Tuesday and slept all day both days. It caused a lovely case of laryngitis as well, as if to that weren't enough. Got in to see the doctor Monday afternoon, she gave me antibiotics and I started to get better.
PalaceVision Thursday night was great - place was sold out and there people standing along side the aisles. My ears are still ringing. Just wish they had won, though. We'll get 'em next year - we now owe the Spurs a genuine, old-fashioned, Detroit-style ass whoopin'. And we need to replace those refs too. What was up with all those fouls? Grrr...
Ok, time for bed. I'm up waaaaay past my bedtime, since this is the second night in a row I've been up past 1:00 am. Have a long day of landscaping, getting the Jeep tire fixed, going to Balloonfest, and hopefully swimming planned for tomorrow. But not before I sleep in well past my usual wake up time of 6:30.

Damn communist bunnies.
Ok, I tried to post this once but accidentally deleted the whole thing after writing it all!
Ok. This is an official apology for the lame-ass pancake bunny posting. Honestly, I didn't have time to write much at all so I stuck the stupidest thing I could think of on the post. (Funny, though it's been around for a couple of years).
It has been brought to my attention that in the time since the pancake bunny originally found internet-fame, he has sadly passed beyond this mortal realm into the great bunny paradise in the clouds. I'd imagine it probably looks a great deal like my mother's vegetable garden.
So, in honor of the pancake bunny, I humbly offer yet another bunny blog entry.

Finally a little time to post.
Seems like things have been extra crazy lately.
Really, I love summer and the warm weather we've been having. It's making up for last year's rainy, cool summer. It seems like we've had something going on every single night for the last few weeks! Pete is here visiting and Ryan has some family up from Florida (at mom & dad's) so we've been trying to spend time with them in addition to all the fun stuff that summer usually brings. We had a small bbq last weekend. Lots of fun but we're still eating hot dogs :)
This weekend we're going up to Charlevoix with Ryan's family. They've rented a cabin up there for the week. We're only staying Saturday and have to drive back Sunday night in time to work on Monday.
On Tuesday we're going to a Tiger game, then Wednesday night it's back up to Charlevoix for Ryan's cousin's graduation party on Thursday. Then we pack up Friday and head north to my mom & dad's, drop off the dogs and head further north to Houghton for a wedding on Saturday. Then Sunday we drive all the way home (probably 12 hours or so.)
Whew.
Maybe winter has its good points. :)
Except that whole snow thing. And ice, and sleet and slush...
Ok, honestly, I'm really happy it's summer. *LOL* Maybe I just need a nap!
In other news, my grandma had a heart valve replaced the other day. She's doing well and is giving the nurses a hard time just a few days after her operation. Way to go, grandma!
Time to go lay on the cold kitchen tile with Coco. Hope to have time to post again early next week. Later!
