Summer's here!
Okay, summer is officially here.
Ryan took his first run out behind the ski boat on Tuesday morning, thanks to a beautiful morning and mirror-like conditions on the lake. Dad was driving the boat, I was just along for the ride.

Ok. Sorry about the delay in posting.
What can I say. Chalk it up to technical difficulties.
Ok, so this is my first post in more than a week. I'll try to catch up. I have loads of pictures waiting to be posted to our gallery, and once I do that, I'll add some links. Until then you have to be happy with what I post here. So there.
This is a picture of an Iris that was in the flowerbed at Jessica and Brian's house.

Finally!
I finally beat the frickin' game today!!! Yeah!!
After many hours of play, I finally beat this sucker. About time.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Thousands of people took to the streets tonight in Howell to celebrate the release of the fifth Harry Potter book.
An estimated 3,000 people were in Howell to participate in Scavenger hunts, look alike contests, and other festivities. Including us!

Wednesday's suck.
Conference calls that last all day, need I say more?
Whoever decided that meetings are such a great way to communicate should have included the stipulation that they should last no more than a half hour. Two hours is WAY too long!!

How I spent my entire Saturday...
I mowed the lawn. All day. And I didn't finish! (Yes, we have a huge lawn!) We've been rained out for so long, things were way out of control in our yard. I had to mow through grass about 2 feet tall! Really! It took 3 passes with the mower to get it to look like yard again. Dad came over and found a visitor hiding in the grass by his truck.
Sorry for the pic being kinda blurry, but I only had one shot - then we took him closer to the swamp where he belongs.
That's it for tonight, I'm beat.

Okay, so you probably thought I was done updating for today.
I thought so too. Then I found out that if you search Google images for "Alien conspiracy" one of the things you will find is this page. Now I don't necessarily buy into this particular brand of horsecrap, but I have to admit that it can be entertaining. If you buy into it, it's your own damn fault.
