Caffeine Addict

Really, I love summer and the warm weather we've been having. It's making up for last year's rainy, cool summer. It seems like we've had something going on every single night for the last few weeks! Pete is here visiting and Ryan has some family up from Florida (at mom & dad's) so we've been trying to spend time with them in addition to all the fun stuff that summer usually brings. We had a small bbq last weekend. Lots of fun but we're still eating hot dogs :)
This weekend we're going up to Charlevoix with Ryan's family. They've rented a cabin up there for the week. We're only staying Saturday and have to drive back Sunday night in time to work on Monday.
On Tuesday we're going to a Tiger game, then Wednesday night it's back up to Charlevoix for Ryan's cousin's graduation party on Thursday. Then we pack up Friday and head north to my mom & dad's, drop off the dogs and head further north to Houghton for a wedding on Saturday. Then Sunday we drive all the way home (probably 12 hours or so.)
Whew.
Maybe winter has its good points. :)

Except that whole snow thing. And ice, and sleet and slush...

Ok, honestly, I'm really happy it's summer. *LOL* Maybe I just need a nap!

In other news, my grandma had a heart valve replaced the other day. She's doing well and is giving the nurses a hard time just a few days after her operation. Way to go, grandma!

Time to go lay on the cold kitchen tile with Coco. Hope to have time to post again early next week. Later!
