Panorama of Sandia Mountains
This picture is actually several photos stitched together. Taken back in March in Albuquerque, NM. I just think it's cool, so I'm posting it here :)

It's interesting. You see the Sandia Mountains. I see the national model for urban sprawl. Once you get past the "man nest", you're right, the Sandia Mountains are nice.

All too true. Albuquerque has about 500,000 people or so, but things are really spread out. It's deceiving though, since those mountains really are pretty far away, but it's flat all the way to the mountain. (Side note: The mountains turn pink at sunset - hence their name.) If you go to the top of Sandia Peak you can see the entire city below you, and it really doesn't seem all that big after all.
